Burglary

We were devastated to discover that we had experienced a break-in last Saturday 30th March either late at night or in the early hours of the following morning. Our external garage had been forced open and we lost somewhere in the region of four to five thousand pounds worth of equipment in the robbery. We hope that our insurance will cover part of this, but we will need to outlay quite a lot of money to ensure we can carry on producing our very popular shows.

Just some of the equipment that was stolen.

The equipment pictured here was just some of the items that we had stolen. There were also a significant amount of stage legs and clamps and a long ladder which we assume were stolen for the metal content.

If you are offered anything like this, or see it for sale, please contact us to let us know. We are sure the police will be interested.

Anyway, as the old adage goes, the show must go on, and go on it shall. We are performing our 40th Anniversary production of Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit on May 30th, 31st and June 1st at the Village Hall.
